Experience: Sourav Samanta, MA, MSW, is a seasoned Clinical Psychologist and community health development expert with over 15 years of dedicated experience. He currently serves as a Psychologist under the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), Government of India, stationed at the Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.
Alongside his government role, Mr. Samanta manages an extensive private consultancy network with active chambers across Durgapur, Asansol, Bardhaman Town, and Bankura, while also offering robust online consultations and mental health webinars tailored primarily for adolescents and adults.
Beginning his professional journey as a grassroots social worker in the NGO sector, Mr. Samanta systematically scaled his expertise into professional counseling, rigorous clinical therapy, and macro-level program management.
His diverse background encompasses specialized exposure in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and managing therapeutic interventions for drug-addicted youth and adolescents experiencing complex psychological disorders.
